Atkins is strongly committed to conducting business responsibly, ethically, and in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. All employees, and others performing work on behalf of the company, have a primary duty to uphold high standards of business conduct and to act with honesty, integrity, and fairness, and without actual or apparent conflicts of interest.
All employees receive the company’s adopted Code of Conduct, which articulates the core values, principles, and key policies and procedures that govern the conduct of our business and relationships with clients, fellow employees, shareholders, suppliers and business partners, and the communities in which we live and work.
Employees and those outside the company are encouraged to immediately report unethical or illegal acts, or acts suspected to be unethical or illegal via the Whistleblower Hotline (800.587.5104) that provides access to an independent telephone reporting system. The service, which provides a totally confidential way of reporting concerns in a secure environment, is provided by Safecall, an external, independent, 24/7 multilingual service that routinely handles such concerns in the strictest confidence.
We aim to create an environment where employees feel that they can voice genuinely held concerns about behaviors and decisions that they believe to be unethical or illegal. This includes a range of issues such as environmental issues, corporate governance issues, fraud, dishonesty, bullying, discrimination, health and safety, harassment, and corruption.
Atkins’ Ethics and Compliance Office serves as the central and coordinating unit for our ethics and compliance program.
