Atkins is providing multidisciplinary services including sustainability consulting to develop an innovative residential care home with increased space standards and amenity facilities situated on a greenbelt.

Using Atkins' deep skills base, this 'next generation' care home takes into consideration a wide variety of factors and will set a new benchmark for the care of older frail people; as such it is designed specifically around their needs. Our design not only answers the larger challenge of building in a protected greenbelt site, but also includes the innovation of customized furniture to cater for the needs of residents.
