Atkins Foundation donation supports scholarships at new Arizona State University campus in Lake Havasu City - January 28, 2013

A $10,000 grant from Atkins will support a key scholarship program at Arizona’s brand-new four-year university, Arizona State University (ASU) Lake Havasu. The grant was presented to Jerry Ernst, VP and Scholarship Fundraising Chair of the Havasu Foundation for Higher Education (HFHE) in late December 2012 by Kevin Murphy, PE, an Atkins project director and Lake Havasu City resident.

Miami, FL — The Miami Culinary Institute building, designed by Atkins, was recently named a finalist in Hospitality Design magazine’s eighth annual Hospitality Design Awards competition in the green/sustainable design category.

Atkins’ UCI Humanities Gateway building design-build achieves LEED Platinum - January 5, 2012

As a member of the Hensel Phelps design-build team, Atkins provided civil engineering for the University of California-Irvine Humanities Gateway building, which has now achieved the highest LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating—Platinum.
